Adventure by the Sea of Crete,

Troubles from the stresses of life float on the salty breeze

the soft wind stroking my cheek and comforting my thoughts

how my mind is lost within this sea of Crete

the waves slowly kiss the skin of my feet.

The light bouncing on the blue crystal water surrounding me

carry me to the white whirls from the waves reaching the land

the cuddling marshmallow clouds clean the thoughts away

and the horizon slipping further away

beyond where the eye can see but not as far as the soul can travel.
