My mother tells me I am strong
for I have seen suffering on mass.
Abuse from those held dear when young to
Silver linings missing on the dark clouds that flow.
My mother tells me I am strong.
for I have held on to the pieces of my broken soul.
Bottled by the sharp stabbing unfaithful hollow soul to
twisted and used for the dims and time I share.
My mother tells me I am strong.
for I have lost great untimely moments.
Operations left scars that are deeper than the black hole to
Stumbling and juggling through words that are never clear to my eyes.
My mother tells me I am strong.
the strength has been my partner to battle my many foes
As my heart beats on my strength surely grows.
As I am strong and my mother knows.
